OFC Partners are delighted to be representing a global mining business who are a premier name in their industry, they have doubled production in the last two years and as a result have seen revenues rising to above $550million. Working in their global head office, reporting into the Group FC and working alongside the Group CFO, you will be involved in a number of exciting core Group Finance responsibilities as well as ad hoc tasks.

Role

Finance Business Partnering – work with key internal stakeholders from sales & marketing to shipping & export to understand, analyse and report key performance indicators / management information.

Core Group Finance – use your accounting knowledge to add real value in the group strategy by owning the production of Group Financial Planning & Analysis / Management Accounting, creating insightful Financial Reporting and having oversight of key transactional finance work with the support of an Assistant Accountant.

Management – assist in the management, training and development of an Assistant Accountant who is training for their accountancy exams.

Ad Hoc Projects – business critical projects for the organisation and parent company will regularly be required.

You

This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who has recently completed their Accounting Qualifications (ICAEW/ICSA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and wishes to work at the cutting edge of finance in a non-financial services/fiduciary business. You will have completed your accounting qualification and have worked either in audit or in an accounting function.
